Purge / Fill Systems
Pacific Design Technologies (PDT) engineers, designs, and manufactures Purge/Fill Systems for the space, aerospace, and defense industries. These systems use specialized fluids such as:
- PAO (Polyalphaolefin)
- EGW (Ethylene Glycol and Water)
- PGW (Propylene Glycol and Water)
- Freon
- Jet Fuels
- Hydraulic Oils
- Liquid CO2
- Ammonia
- Refrigerants
- Deionized Water
- Coolanol 25R
PDT designs purge/fill systems for use in fluid circulation in liquid cooling system and lubrication systems. These purge/fill systems can be used in ground vehicle and military aircraft applications. PDT offers non-powered and powered systems depending on the application. The powered systems can be designed to operate on various power supplies.
Non-powered systems are designed to use the on-vehicle pump to circulate the working fluid, perfect for remote servicing. The powered systems incorporate their own pumps for fluid circulation.
PDT Purge/Fill Systems allow for the following modes to be accomplished, depending on the application:
- Filling
- De-aeration (purging of entrained air)
- Accumulator Charging
